Warrior Vaettir Farmer [Survivor Proof] HM [UPDATED]
*NOTE* This build is just a way for warrior to >SAFELY< get Legendary survivor. This build can be used by many proffesions. i know that it hardly uses any warrior skill, nor is it rather effective(1 min longer,WOW), But it got me to legendary in less than 3 hours.beat that without doing Hammers. *NOTE*
Since the new update, i wanted to gain Legendary Survivor for my warrior.
Raptors? meh eaven i, an exp raptor farmer will die 1/50 runs due to bb, freeze.
Vaettirs? hmm but energy regain sucks and so.. but i tried!
And here is the finished build(s)!
First, Your build:
Quote:
OQcTEZ58ZiHRn5ACBSpYH0tkUEA
|
Attributes are as follows:
Shadow Arts: 12
Strenght: 8+1 (Minor):9
Axe Mastery:10+1+3 (head+sup):14
*optional* Deadly Arts:2
[NOTE]: Can also be Sword Mastery instead of Axe,WA is the same for both.
~
Armor: Ive played around with Knights, blessed, and so on and anything works!
a tip though is to still use.
putting on attunement runes so you have 25 energy is a good help(dp+sf+sod=25 energy, otherwise you have to dual BiP)
Sword/Axe +Shield:
Sword/Axe can have any Zealous, vamp, sundering,Furious,it doesnt matter.
15^enchant, or 15^50 (you wount be <50 anyway)
And "of enchanting", ofcourse, to maintain SF.
Shield is best to have +10 AR vs Earth, and +45^enchant.
Alt: "Sheltered by Faith"(-2^enchant) +45^enchant.
Now, the first bonder (This one is needed)
Attributes are as follows:
Protection Prayers: 12+1+3:16
Divine Favor:12
Armor doesnt matter, as long as they got enough energy for all skills
And the second bonder (this isnt really needed, but gives you an safer run.
Attributes are as follows:
Healing Prayers: 12+1+3:16
Blood Magic:12
Armor doesnt matter, as long as they got enough energy for all skills
Usage:
Start from Longeye's ledge, and run for Jaga Moraine
If a wurm should pop, use SF directly, flag heroes, and run away.
When in Jaga,Make heroes bond you (make sure to use Life barrier first).
Use DP>SF>SoD and make the hero Bond you.
Flag them behind you, and run in, aggroing everything on the right side (make sure to flag heroes so they dont loose bonds.
If you get blocked, use Heart of shadow. Mob them together,so all are standing close to eachother, and start spamming your skills!
use Cyclone axe&WA,and then Radiation Field,WA,LoD,WA,and repeat.
Try to use WA& CA as much as possible.
Any questions welcome to ask here!

Adds in enraging charge for running there and grabbing aggro. Since bonded war takes no dmg...I found shroud irrelevant.
mo/n bonder~OwQT44HDnwhxbeyrTpEAAAA (prot+3+1,smite +3)
Adds in Soh so no need for attri in axe allowing 12 strength (with +1 for sentinel bonus allows any shield) and 12 SA. Exploits added adrenline gain from balth with higher smiting. Uses br for e-boost.
mo/r 2ndary~OwIT0Y4Y5gm/Tk1MlAAAQHA
Adds in holy veil for the added [email protected] time in case of slip up. Adds in EoE for insurance dmg.
After mutiple test runs...I found 4mins very easy and 3mins possible. 20-25 energy worked just fine.
A few hints....
Let aggro settle on you b4 using dmg skills. This will avoid most scatter issues.
Use rad field and lod during your attack down time caused by deadly paradox. After every dp->sf chain use rad field/lod. Once the attack penalty of dp runs out focus on cyclone and WW attacks until u need to recast dp/sf.
Auto attack...every hit will be 21dmg (24 with vamp) and each vaettir that dies =43dmg via EoE.
Use "I have power inscription" on your axe. The +5e helps a lot and since u have soh and capped dmg no other insciption will help nearly as much.

[Pm me if you dont want it to be merged]
^Essence Build is tested and works great,But without SoD you dont have that extra safeholder,But you shouldent really need it.
Changed war build, sorry, it was an MQsc Runner build ^^!

Nice find although it seems like a lot more work than the E/Me build. Still, nice to see people being creative like this

I don't think it's about the efficiency of the farming, but rather how to do it with a warrior going for survivor.
Now to find one for my monk....

The vaettir do earth damage so the knights insignias and absorption rune are not doing anything.

You could use dreadnought's for +10 vs elemental dmg
edit: and yes, it would seem that Mo/A works just fine for farming vaettir, but the timing on SF seems so tight that I fear any frame of lag could ruin it...

take the builds i use, and make heroes bond you, they dont have any interupts, only degen, and with mending+watchfull+sod, you will easely counter it for another SF.

Cause a lot of damage comes from WA, wich is physical, shouldn't be a good idea to add SoH if using 2nd bonder(maybe moving bonds between two hero bars to fit attribute spread)?

going to try that, and im now going to use a vamp sword.
using the +175% scrolls(300g/ea) you get 31.500k exp/5 min. that means around 42-43 HM runs for legendary.
300 x45 13500 g,witch you easely will get by selling the unids.
*EDIT* SF already caps WA's original dmg at 21 dmg, so SoH doesnt work.

Couldn't you just go with a SB hero and go W/N with MoP and hundred blades? That would make the run take under 3 minutes. The only way I don't see this being better is if it takes longer then 20 seconds or so to round them all up.

Thats the same thing with raptor farming, in 1/30 runs u will fail due to some Vaettir not being close enough, being blocked, etc.
This is just what im doing, and it works, im atm r2 and about 400k away from Legendary,i started 3 hours ago.

This seems to be a farming build, not a warrior build. No, FGJ and a PvE warrior skill doesn't count. This is basically a 'sin bar.
If energy is a problem, swap in Bonetti's Defense. You don't have to worry about points in tactics with all the foes around to fuel adrenaline. For Great Justice isn't doing much in the build. You'll need three hits to charge Whirlwind Attack, and then all that adrenaline goes to waste. Swap in Cyclone Axe, and you'll power up WwA instantly(you do have 6 adjacent foes, right?). You'll also be hitting everything more frequently. You can drop Light of Deldrimor from the bar, since the damage cap from Shadow Form makes it suck even more than usual.

FGJ makes it easier to spam WA, WA gets charged by them attacking me, i dont need to attack them.
yeah sure, its not a new build
but it is a warrior build none the less.
stop the hatin.

Look up the term constructive criticism.
Set the bonder's attributes to 3 in Smiting. You have points left over, and Balthazar's Spirit gives one more point of adrenaline at 3.

Found SoD wasn't needed - hardly ever down more than a point or two under maximum health. So I put in cyclone axe for damage.
I'm wondering about maybe club of a thousand bears (faster recharge) in place of LoD or would the knockdown be detrimental?

Coatb is still just single target, and will cap at 21 dmg, therefor useless, you want them to die as close to ea as possible.
as for SoD, i know its not needed, but its Survivor Proof!
I lagged out at one mob, just casted SoD, and was about to cast SF.
came back 30 sec later, still alive, taking damage, be degen'd,but SoD kept me up.
so, it was just safer

late night reading fail on my part. I've never used the skill and I misread "to adjacent foes" instead of "for"
